This tomato came with zero description.
I absolutely bought it because it’s name is Prince.
I hope it’s purple.
Upon doing some very vague research, I learned it’s probably a Black Prince which is a Siberian variety. It will be purplish black.

Wise cats help you be more like them
I had a black tomato (small) plant last year. The fruit turned black but I didn’t like them when they were ripe. I hope yours are more successful

I’ve had variations on this before. They do ok. Just hoping for a successful tomato crop this year. Last summer’s was not good.

Oh, that’s good then. My neighbour picks out three plants for me and plants them in my big pots just off my balcony (patio?). I don’t think his black ones were successful either because he went back to red and yellow this year, although I have a couple of friends who enjoy their black ones.

I have my standards that I plant but definitely like to try new varieties. Last year I had one that was supposed to be blue green but did not go well.

Variety is good. It so lovely to pick fresh tomatoes every day. They don’t always make it to a meal. 😉
