Happy Mother’s Day to all the Fur Moms who know that four-legged children can be just as much work (and just as great) as the two-legged, hairless variety. Especially at meal time.

As I was reading this post, I heard a strange noise coming from outside and immediately jumped up and ran to the other room to make sure the cats were alright. Moments like those make me realize that there are ways in which having cats is similar to having kids.

Absolutely! Or when there is an odd silence. Olivia reminds of a toddler at mealtime. Everyone wants her food except HER and I sometimes have to redirect her 2 or 3 times to get her to eat.
